Ladders is seeking a Staff ML Infrastructure Engineer - Embodied AI Scaling Foundations to help build foundational ML infra for large-scale AI in automotive manufacturing. The role focuses on scalable training, evaluation, and deployment workflows that accelerate technical velocity and production-grade ML systems.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape durable platforms, guide architectural decisions, and strengthen end-to-end MLOps capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale distributed or ML systems.
• Proven track record designing durable APIs and robust frameworks.
• End-to-end ML lifecycle experience including MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of scalable ML training and evaluation platforms.
• Own complex projects and make critical architectural decisions.
• Coordinate impact across multiple teams and timelines.
• Prioritize technical initiatives with partner teams.
• Conduct technical interviews to maintain high hiring standards.
• Mentor and onboard junior engineers and interns.
