Job summary
Cast & Crew Entertainment Services, LLC is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS EKS, empowering hundreds of engineers. You will promote IaC, GitOps, and operator-level tooling to improve developer experience.
You will lead incident response, drive observability improvements with New Relic or Datadog, and mentor senior engineers while shaping platform standards and investments.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in DevOps or platform engineering; staff/principal level preferred.
- Deep Kubernetes knowledge, especially EKS, with scale experience.
- Strong Azure DevOps Pipelines and YAML automation experience.
Responsibilities
- Architect and improve CI/CD pipelines with pipeline-as-code standards.
- Own AWS EKS health, autoscaling, networking, and upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Define IaC practices using Terraform; promote GitOps across teams.
- Drive reliability using observability data from New Relic/Datadog.
- Define golden-path templates for containerized workloads and onboarding.
- Mentor engineers; lead architecture reviews and platform investments.
