Job summary

PrizePicks is seeking a Staff Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable data platform for batch and streaming use cases. You will enable real-time decisions, data lineage, and robust security while partnering with product, backend, and data teams across the company.

You’ll own end-to-end data pipelines, drive observability, CI/CD for data workflows, and help scale our platform to support high-velocity DFS data workloads. Remote-friendly in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building scalable data platforms in production.
• Experience with streaming architectures and low-latency services.
• Proficient in Python and Go; cloud experience (GCP/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and build batch and streaming data platforms.
• Develop real-time data services for low latency decisions.
• Champion CI/CD, observability, and data security controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
