GE Vernova is seeking a Staff Cyber Security Architect to ensure secure application and infrastructure architecture and to lead security reviews for cloud and on-premise systems. The role emphasizes secure-by-design principles and AI/security projects within the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting cybersecurity architecture, secure solution design, or security assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support security architecture activities for AWS and Azure deployments, participating in reviews and risk assessments.
• Ensure secure-by-design architectures for AI applications and agents, including identity, data access, and model integration.
• Draft and publish risk assessment reports and develop reusable security patterns and guidance for AI applications.
• Research emerging technologies and collaborate with teams to provide practical security guidance.
