Role Overview:
You will lead security architecture initiatives for cloud, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies at our organization. Collaborating with various technical teams, you will shape security standards, conduct architecture reviews, and support the secure adoption of new technologies. You will explain complex security risks to both technical and business stakeholders, helping us stay ahead of emerging threats and align with compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead security architect for cloud, AI, and emerging technology initiatives across the enterprise
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to incorporate security requirements into solution designs from the start
- Conduct security architecture reviews for system migrations, new platform deployments, and strategic technology projects
- Define and develop the security roadmap for all cloud platforms and emerging technologies
- Expand enterprise-level AI security guardrails for large language models, agentic workflows, and internal AI tools and integrations
- Collaborate with AI advisory teams to validate AI opportunities and design secure end-to-end AI delivery pipelines
- Support review and approval processes for AI model usage, risk assessments, and third-party AI components such as models, datasets, and APIs
- Configure security information and event management tools to detect anomalous behavior and guardrail breaches in real time
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of advanced security features in CI/CD pipelines and software delivery platforms, continuously improving DevSecOps practices and reducing software supply chain risks
- Assess and prioritize security findings from scanning tools, security assessments, and cloud security platforms
- Participate in IT change management forums, offering expertise on cloud security, AI security, DevSecOps, and emerging risks
- Monitor industry trends, threat intelligence, and regulations to identify new risks and opportunities
- Present technical recommendations and risk analysis to senior leadership and project stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in IT or Information Security with at least 6 years in Security Architecture or Engineering
- Experience evaluating, securing, or governing AI/ML Security, MLOps Security, and Generative AI technologies in enterprise settings
- Expertise in AI security concepts including prompt injection, model exploitation, adversarial attacks, prompt-based exfiltration, data leakage risks, and agent misbehavior
- Proven experience evaluating and securing AI/ML systems, including generative AI and large language models in enterprise environments
- Experience developing and implementing AI governance frameworks
- Deep hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Security capabilities including IAM, Organizations, SCPs, VPC security, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, logging, monitoring, and security automation
- Strong background in cybersecurity engineering covering IAM, network security, DLP, encryption, monitoring, incident response, and threat modeling
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD security, software supply-chain security, and secure software development practices
- Experience defining, implementing, and improving security within CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms, focusing on shift-left security, automation, vulnerability management, and supply chain security
- Knowledge of security regulations and best practices such as SOX, HIPAA, CIS, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent are strongly preferred
