GE Vernova is seeking a Sr Staff Cyber Security Architect to ensure secure application and infrastructure architectures. The role conducts security architecture reviews for cloud and on-premise systems and aligns designs to GE Vernova security requirements.

The candidate will draft risk assessments, publish reusable security patterns, and develop security policies and standards. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Security architecture experience with AWS and Azure; threat modeling and secure-by-design practices.

• Lead security architecture reviews for cloud and on-premise systems to ensure secure-by-design solutions.
• Draft target architectures and publish reusable security patterns and guidance.
• Develop security documentation, policies, standards, and leading practices.
