Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer to shape and run a large Azure/Kubernetes platform powering energy forecasting and AI workloads. You will own multi-cluster AKS environments, drive Terraform modules, and enhance CI/CD with GitOps practices.

Collaboration with data science and product teams is essential to improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency. You will lead multi-month programs, ensure secure AI environments, and mentor engineers while building scalable platform

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, platform, or SRE with senior ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes experience, AKS/EKS/GKE ok, with networking policies knowledge.
• Extensive Terraform in large codebases and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Atlantis-style pipelines.
• Database operations for MySQL/ClickHouse with replication and recovery.
• Security mindset: least privilege, identity, secrets management and network isolation.
• Strong observability basics: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve AKS clusters and related tooling for production services.
• Lead Terraform codebase development, upgrades, and drift reconciliation.
• Maintain GitHub Actions runners and secure deployment pipelines with GitOps.
• Reliably operate databases like MySQL and ClickHouse with backup and failover processes.
• Design secure, auditable AI platform environments with appropriate identity controls.
• Build and maintain observability stack and alerting with SRE practices.
• Identify Azure cost optimization opportunities while preserving performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident responses with postmortems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; document systems and procedures.
