Job summary

Towson University Counseling Center is seeking a Staff Clinician/Referrals Coordinator to provide psychological services to students and to lead the Referrals Coordination efforts. The role supports doctoral internship and externship training and will collaborate with faculty and staff.

The position emphasizes training, outreach, and administrative leadership in a university setting, with telework up to two days per week after 90 days of service and potential after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or clinical or counseling psychology.
• Full licensure as a Social Worker or Counselor in Maryland; license must be obtained within 12 months of start date.
• At least one year of direct clinical or counseling services in outpatient or related setting.
• Preferred: experience in a college/university counseling center.
• Proficient in Point and Click or ability to learn the system.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to students and consultation to faculty and staff.
• Lead the Referrals Coordination area, developing programming, policies, and procedures; track utilization and evaluate programs.
• Supervise doctoral interns, externs, and/or unlicensed staff in provision of services.
• Contribute to outreach and psychoeducation activities; provide training seminars.
• Participate in administrative functions, meetings, and university service.
• Work hours may include after hours and weekends; telework up to two days per week after 90 days.
