Job summary

Towson University’s Counseling Center seeks a licensed mental health clinician to deliver psychological services to students, provide supervision, and participate in outreach and coordination with campus partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work or psychology, Maryland licensure (or eligibility within 12 months), and at least one year of outpatient clinical experience; telework may be available after 90 days of service.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling psychology.
• Full Maryland licensure as Social Worker or Counselor; licensure within 12 months.
• At least one year of direct clinical or counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to students and consultation to faculty and staff.
• Lead or assist in crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, and group formats.
• Provide clinical supervision and training for doctoral interns and externs.
• Develop and implement coordinated referrals and collaborations across campus.
• Engage in outreach programs and health education through Counseling Center efforts.
• Support center operations, participate in meetings, and assist policy development.
• Participate in Student Affairs activities and university-wide committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
