Dash0 is building an OpenTelemetry-native, AI-centric observability platform with transparent pricing and cost-control. The Revenue Engineering team owns everything from telemetry ingestion to invoicing, including metering pipelines, Stripe integrations, and cloud marketplace connections.

You will help shape the product roadmap, establish architectural patterns, and become the technical authority on revenue engineering within a year.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering with ownership of a production billing or metering system.
• Deep Stripe experience — not just payments, but webhooks, usage records, and reconciliation; you've debugged the hard edge cases.
• Strong Go or Java skills and maintainable code for the team.
• Experience designing distributed systems at scale and reasoning about reliability, consistency, and failure modes.
• A product mindset: billing impacts what customers pay and trust in the product.
• Genuine staff-level ownership — push back, identify systemic problems, raise capability.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the metering pipeline — design, build, and harden the systems that count every billable event.
• Deepen the Stripe integration — extend subscription management, usage reporting, invoice lifecycle handling, and edge-case recovery.
• Build and maintain cloud marketplace integrations — data flows between the billing core and AWS, Azure, GCP marketplaces.
• Ship customer-facing usage dashboards and cost forecasting — real-time visibility into spend and drivers.
• Improve billing alerting and notifications — surface anomalies and thresholds before customer issues arise.
• Set architectural patterns — establish design/testing standards and drive reliability.
• Mentor engineers on billing architecture — uplift the team through code reviews and coaching.
