In this remote-US role, you’ll mentor engineers, drive best practices, and own long-term strategy for the Android ecosystem powering next-generation cardiac monitoring, with impactful outcomes for clinicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven senior/staff level leadership with cross-team influence.
• Deep Kotlin and Android ecosystem expertise (Jetpack, Hilt, Coroutines, Compose).
• Experience with long-running Android apps, background execution, lifecycle management, battery optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and evolution of the Android Gateway platform.
• Lead design and delivery of complex mobile initiatives from concept to production.
• Develop robust, scalable Android apps using modern mobile development practices.
• Drive architectural decisions to improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Partner with Product, Systems, Firmware, Quality, Regulatory, and Cloud teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead design reviews and champion engineering excellence.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical curiosity and quality.
• Resolve complex challenges in a regulated, safety-critical environment.
