Highway Horticulture, a fully vertical cannabis company in Michigan, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the finance team. This remote, entry‑level role covers AP, AR and general accounting duties under the CFO, with monthly in‑person meetings in Marshall, MI.

You will record vendor bills and payments, issue invoices, support month‑end close, and ensure accurate, audit‑ready records in a regulated industry. Michigan residency required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits.
• Willingness to work remotely with Michigan residency.

Mansioni

• Record vendor bills, code to GL accounts, and process payments (Accounts Payable).
• Prepare and post customer invoices and record cash receipts (Accounts Receivable).
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and audit-ready records in a regulated industry.
• Assist with maintaining complete and accurate accounting records.
