• 8-10 years of work experience in information architecture and interaction design, creating digital solutions for complex web and mobile applications
• Experience being the lead product designer for an enterprise application
• Excellent portfolio showcasing information architecture and interaction design artifacts for desktop and mobile devices
• Functional knowledge of information architecture, usability, user centered design principals and interaction design
• Able to transform requirements and ideas into deliverables including flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes that communicate design requirements to the project team
• Unwavering empathy for user needs and the ability to link them to measurable solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills, self-motivated with the ability to work with a team and independently to perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
• Expert proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (i.e. Figma)
• Experience with user research, usability testing and site analytics is a plus
• Strong understanding of website design methodologies (e.g. mobile first, responsive/adaptive design)
• Working knowledge of various web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) as they relate to design
• Hospitality, travel, or transportation industry
• Experience with an enterprise application that focuses on Billing, point of sale
• Global product experience

Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own design strategy and execution for significantproduct areas within the Sales and Events digital ecosystem. You will guide work from earlydiscovery and concept development through delivery, measurement, and iteration, whileensuring that each experience is coherent, effective, and aligned with user and businessneeds.In this role, you will focus on billing experiences within this global hotel company's Sales and Events digitalecosystem, collaborate daily with Product Management and Software Engineering, anddesign scalable web and mobile solutions that meet user, business, technical, legal,brand, accessibility, and usability requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partnering closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to definecustomer problems, evaluate design and technical tradeoffs, prioritize experienceimprovements, and align on product direction throughout the lifecycle.
• Translating user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear,intuitive, and scalable design solutions.
