A division of Harris, inHance, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. .NET Software Developer to join our vibrant and dynamic development team. As a Sr. .NET Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our suite of utility billing and CIS software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the .NET framework, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. This remote role is open to candidates in Canada and the US within the Central or Eastern Time zones. It requires travel 1-2 times per year within the US or Canada, with a valid passport potentially needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements for our software products.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and support, to deliver high-quality solutions.
3. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using C#, SQL, and Blazor.
4. Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data access.
5. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues promptly.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to improve our products.
8. Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in C# .NET development.
3. 5+ years of experience with MS SQL.
4. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
6. Deep understanding of design patterns and architectural styles.
7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

1. Proficiency with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Blazor.
2. Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs.
3. Familiarity with Azure and microservices architecture.
4. Experience with utility billing software or CIS.
5. Knowledge of SSO.
6. Proficiency in creating and maintaining DevOps pipelines.
