Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO invites applications for Open Rank-Instructor/Sr. Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine.

The role leads research and relationship-building with state agencies, health systems, and community partners to advance primary care transformation and health policy translation. Responsibilities include developing externally funded projects, mentoring trainees, publishing, and translating findings into practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health, public policy, public administration, political science, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or related field.
• At least five years of extensive and progressively responsible experience for Sr. Instructor track; four years for Instructor track, with expertise in value-based payment models.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate relationships with state agencies, health systems, public health agencies, community partners, and payers to advance Primary Care Research.
• Represent the Colorado Health Extension System in external meetings and coordinate strategic relationship development.
• Plan instructional responsibilities for students and residents related to health care policy and payment reform.
• Prepare written research materials including policy briefs, reports, and summaries.
• Coordinate with leadership and project teams to ensure timely completion of research deliverables.
