Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine to lead and contribute to research on primary care transformation, value-based care, and community-engaged research. The role involves developing funded projects, publishing work, mentoring trainees, and informing policy through dissemination of findings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in public health, public policy, public administration, political science, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• At least four (4) years of experience for Instructor track; five (5) years for Sr. Instructor track; experience in building community, managing people and research programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead externally funded research and implementation projects.
• Publish scholarly work and mentor trainees.
• Develop and coordinate relationships with state agencies, health systems, and payers to advance primary care research.
• Represent the Colorado Health Extension System in external meetings and partnerships.
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations; translate research into practice and policy.
