Job summary

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Mid-Level+ SQL Database Administrator for our client. This is a work-from-home opportunity, supporting SQL Server, Oracle, and related environments to maintain data integrity and performance.

The role emphasizes daily troubleshooting, capacity planning, and collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure reliable database services and application integrations like SharePoint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SQL/Oracle database environments.
• Experience with SQL Server, SQL Clusters, and HA/DR.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, capacity planning, and change management through ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily troubleshooting, system setup, error triage, and configuration for SQL Server and SQL Clusters.
• Manage request lifecycles from submission to closeout within ServiceNow.
• Perform proactive capacity planning and health monitoring using Idera and SolarWinds.
• Respond to and execute RFCs for ongoing maintenance and resolve related tickets.
