About the role

Remote position. Position: Remote Sports Data Analyst / Performance Research Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data from various sources, including game footage, training sessions, and performance tracking tools
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to coaches and agents
• Collaborate with coaches and agents to develop performance strategies based on data analysis
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to inform decision making
• Assist with creating and maintaining databases and data management systems
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in sports technology and data analysis techniques

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, sports science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a sports setting
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or R

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $50-60 per hour, depending on experience
• Training Pay: $40 per hour (1-week paid training)
• Training Bonus: $700 incentive upon completion
• Work Schedule: Flexible — Full-time (30–40 hrs/week) or Part-time (20 hrs/week)
