Job summary

Hope Learning Academy in Springfield, IL, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and deliver speech/language therapy across multiple Hope programs. You will participate in IEP teams, develop and implement goals, and promote functional communication across daily activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and staff, supporting AAC use, and providing consistent therapeutic services in educational and residential settings. Remote work is offered as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY eligibility.
• Illinois State License for Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Illinois Professional Educator’s License with SLP endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech/language therapy to a caseload of students as per IEPs.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and school staff to integrate communication goals.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and present levels.
• Utilize AAC devices and train staff in their use.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

ASHA CCC or CFY

Illinois SLP License

IL Professional Educator’s License with SLP endorsement
