Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school-based setting near Springfield, IL. This on-site role welcomes travel professionals passionate about pediatric communication development and collaboration with educators.

You’ll provide direct and indirect therapy for students from preschool through high school, conduct assessments, help develop IEPs, and maintain accurate records, with competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students ages preschool through high school, targeting a variety of communication disorders.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student success.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Monitor student progress, adapt intervention strategies, and advocate for communication needs.
  • Stay current on best practices and compliance requirements in school settings.
