Job summary

Stride, Inc. and Carolus Online Academy (COA) seek a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy and assessments for students with communication disorders in a home-based role. The position is full-time, with typical day schedules and independent work expectations.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's in speech-language pathology with 3+ years of experience, IDEA knowledge, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 20% and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or equivalent.
• At least three years of speech-language experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IDEA due process requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff to deliver services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; organizational ability.
• Travel up to 20% and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and provides speech-language therapy for students with impairments; documents progress.
• Supports SST/RTI processes for student success.
• Manages a speech-only caseload and ensures compliance.
• Monitors compliance with regulations and documentation standards.
• Instructs students/families in communication technologies for classroom use.
• Maintains files, progress reports, and treatment plans for compliance.
• Participates in meetings, workshops, and trainings.
