Job summary

National Heritage Academies (PrepNet Virtual Academy) seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a virtual setting. The role focuses on conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and providing SLP services across remote and school-based models.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with standard school hours, teamwork with administrators, teachers, and families, and a commitment to compliance and student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (or Comm. Sciences & Disorders) required.
• Limited SLP license issued by LARA or SLP license required.
• Experience with at-risk student populations preferred.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school administrator and special education teams to plan daily service schedules, evaluations, and IEP meetings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, eligibility determinations, annual reviews, and progress monitoring.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and contribute to assessment planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language goals aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Provide specially designed instruction to meet communication needs across service models.
• Document service delivery and compliance-related records per guidelines.
• Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate records.
