Job summary

Cencora, a leader in health services, seeks a pharmacist to expand ambulatory and specialty pharmacy partnerships in a hybrid role serving Atlanta and Gordon, Georgia. You will manage prior authorizations, insurance adjudication, and patient access programs while coordinating with physicians and pharmacy staff.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD, is licensed, and has 5+ years in community/ambulatory settings. Strong analytical skills and experience with EMR systems are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems and insurance adjudication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret clinical data and integrate into EMR notes.

Responsibilities

• Access physician practices for specialty Rx value using available tools.
• Coordinate with practices to set meetings with decision makers.
• Demonstrate ambulatory pharmacy value to specialty practices and ensure Rx flow.
