Baptist Health Medical Group is hiring a Specialty Coder I to join our team in a remote capacity requiring residency in Kentucky or Indiana. The role focuses on coding diagnoses and procedures for outpatient physician charges, including Evaluation and Management levels, in office procedures, and surgery coding across multiple clinic settings.

Under supervision, you will review medical records, ensure complete documentation, and assign CPT and ICD codes for office and surgical services.

Formación

• High School diploma required.
• CPC or CCS-P coding certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of specialty/surgical coding experience.

Responsabilidades

• Code diagnoses and procedures for outpatient physician charges at the clinic level, including Evaluation and Management levels, in office procedures, and surgery coding across multiple clinic settings.
• Review medical records to ensure accurate patient data for coding.
• Assign CPT and ICD codes for office and surgical services.
