Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver content in an online environment. You will provide instruction, support, and guidance aligned with each student's IEP, managing the learning process across multiple schools and states.

Role requires obtaining licensure in multiple states, working approximately 40+ hours per week, and remaining adaptable to time zone differences. This remote position is open to residents across the 50 states and D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Active State Special Education teaching license is required.
• Ability to clear a background check is required.
• You must obtain additional Special Education licenses in a minimum of three states with up to five states preferred by your first day of employment as determined by Stride.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to students based on IEP.
• Make modifications and accommodations to Stride K12 lessons and assessments.
• Ensure inclusion and success of students in the general education classroom.
• Collect data and work samples to monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Document all contact with parents and interventions with students.
• Interact with learning coaches/parents in a timely manner and provide support as needed.
