Job summary

Stride, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver online course content and support students with IEP goals across multiple schools on a 6–12 week rotating schedule.

The role requires state licensure in multiple states and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Ideal candidates will have a valid Special Education license, be able to obtain additional licenses in several states, and commit to 40+ hours per week in a home-based office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and active state Special Education license.
• Must be able to clear required background check.
• Must obtain licenses in at least three states (up to five preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver content in online environment.
• Provide instruction, support, and guidance; manage learning process.
• Personalize learning as defined by each student's IEP.
• Maintain accurate grade book and communicate with families and learning coaches.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
