Stride K12 is seeking a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver SPED content online across multiple schools. You will provide instruction and guidance per IEPs, work with families, and obtain licensure in several states while rotating between campuses every 6–12 weeks.

The role requires ~40+ hours weekly, a professional home office, and the ability to work across time zones. Salary ranges from $43,000 to $50,000 with potential bonuses, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and active State Special Education teaching license.
• Clear required background check.
• You must obtain additional Special Education licenses in at least three states (five states preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote home office.

Responsibilities

• Modify Stride K12 lessons and assessments per IEP.
• Ensure inclusion and success of students in general education.
• Collect data and work samples to monitor IEP goals.
• Document all contact with parents and interventions.
• Analyze student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
• Maintain grade book and alert administrators to concerns.
