Job summary

Stride, Inc. in the United States seeks a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver online instruction aligned with each student's IEP, provide support, manage the learning process, and address individual needs.

The role requires licensure in multiple states, serves students across multiple schools on a rotating schedule, and offers a remote, 40+ hour per week work arrangement with time-zone flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active State Special Education license.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Must obtain additional Special Education licenses in a minimum of three states (up to five preferred).

Responsibilities

• Modify Stride K12 lessons and assessments to reflect IEP accommodations.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous online learning experiences.
• Document parent communications and interventions.
• Monitor student progress toward IEP goals using data samples.
• Maintain a grade book and communicate student progress to families and administrators.
• Collaborate with learning coaches/parents to resolve curricular issues.
