Coastal Plains High School District Wide in Brunswick, Georgia seeks a Part-Time Remote Teacher for SWD. The role requires Special Education Certification and a Georgia teaching certificate, with availability 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Monday–Thursday. Duties include virtual instruction, data review, and parent communication. All postings are contingent on board approval and references.

Qualifications

Special Education Certification required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field with a valid Georgia teaching certificate.
Availability to work during the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (2 days a week).
3 years teaching experience and strong technology skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a Virtual Online Instructional Program.
Demonstrate operational knowledge of Internet and Web-related technologies.
Teach one or more subjects within school goals and plan long/short-range objectives for each course.
Participate in professional learning and implement skills to raise student achievement.
Promote student engagement and assess abilities related to goals and outcomes.
Support and encourage students and manage behavior to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Collaborate in teams to review assessment data and adjust instruction accordingly.
Maintain up-to-date grade and attendance records and communicate with parents.
Support school activities, meetings, and training as directed by site leadership.
