Job summary

Primavera is seeking a dynamic Special Education Instructor to support Arizona students in a remote role. You will write and enforce IEPs and 504 plans, evaluate students, and collaborate with both Exceptional Student Services and General Education staff to ensure the right accommodations and services, while staying compliant with state/federal rules.

The successful candidate should have secondary-level Special Education teaching experience, a current AZ Teacher Certification, and an AZ

Qualifications

• Highly qualified in Special Education.
• Current valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Arizona Teacher Certification.
• Special Education teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Minimum of at least 2 years of verified full time teaching experience in Special Education.
• REMOTE in AZ.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with students and parents on a weekly basis via phone, email, live video sessions, and other means
• Write and enforce IEPs and 504s
• Collaborate with Exceptional Student Services team and General Education Instructors to ensure students receive appropriate support and accommodations
• Participate in professional development and departmental meetings as needed
• Assist the Student Study Team in evaluating and monitoring students
• Perform 45-day screenings and other duties to comply with state and federal regulations
