Job summary

Fisher Phillips is seeking employment attorneys with 7+ years of experience to join our team as Special Counsel in our Virtual Office. This mostly remote role handles administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation for diverse firm clients, with travel mostly local.

You will supervise others, develop case strategies, and represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials. Our firm emphasizes flexible, high-quality work in a fully remote setting, with no business development

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• 7+ years of experience in employment law and litigation.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Preferred: law firm experience and EPLI matters.
• Bar admission in California is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting; no business development pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation.
• Supervise others, develop case strategies, and draft/review work product.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Travel mostly local as required.
