Job summary

Markel Corporation in Omaha, NE is seeking a Spanish bilingual Customer Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for insurance questions and to deliver a positive customer experience. Core hours are 7:00am - 7:00pm CST, Monday to Friday, with a remote or hybrid work option depending on location.

Qualifications

• This position requires fluency in English and Spanish to assist customers professionally in both languages.
• 1+ year of prior customer service experience preferred.
• Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills; high-volume call center experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers with insurance questions.
• Communicate clearly with customers in English and Spanish.
• Resolve customer concerns on the first call when possible and escalate when needed.
• Stay current on procedures, products, and programs to meet department standards.
