Job summary

Pixxel Space Technologies, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Spacecraft Operations and Analysis Engineer to monitor and control spacecraft per mission plans with zero downtime due to operational lapses.

You will drive flight procedures, on-call coverage, and data analysis to ensure healthy spacecraft operations. The role requires 3+ years in space ops or related fields, a bachelor’s in engineering, and strong scripting/automation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, electrical, computer or software) or other technical field.
• 3+ years of direct software development experience (Python or similar) including ground scripting, automation, and data analysis.
• 2-3 years of direct experience in spacecraft operations, satellite subsystems, ground systems, or spacecraft command and control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain mission planning and ground systems in live production environments.
• Lead on-console operations across mission phases with minimal oversight.
• Develop, validate, and maintain flight operational and contingency procedures.
