Mission

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of high-complexity programs within the space segment.This role ensures delivery on time, within scope and budget, while aligning cross-functional teams andmaintaining high technical standards. The position directly contributes to the execution of strategicspace initiatives and acts as primary liaison with governmental and industrial stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Execution

• Define and monitor project milestones, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional specifications (requirement documents)
• Track and report project progress through structured status updates and documentation

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Align internal stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments
• Coordinate internal workflows and manage interfaces between project participants
• Lead and document review processes with external clients and partners

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as primary point of contact for client communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure transparency of progress and risks to internal management and external sponsors

Required Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics, or related technical field (Dipl.-Ing., MSc, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex technical projects
• Proven experience in aerospace or space-related programs
• Certification in project management (IPMA Level D or equivalent)
• Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)

Preferred Experience

• Background in sensor technology or electro-optics
• Familiarity with public-sector project environments and procurement structures
