Job summary

Planet in Berlin seeks a Senior Engineering Program Manager to drive complex spacecraft programs from inception to launch. You will own strategy, problem-solving, and status communication across hardware, engineering and external partnerships.

This is a full-time, in-office role based at our Berlin hub, with travel to partner sites as needed. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in aerospace program management, strong German and English skills, and experience in hardware ramp-up with external

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management experience in aerospace, manufacturing or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including with customers.
• Proficiency in German and professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience in engineering PM for hardware development and ramp-up.
• Ability to travel internationally, including to San Francisco 2–3 times yearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead satellite programs from planning through build, test and launch.
• Oversee schedules, budgets and performance across all phases.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet milestones.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain to advance concurrent lines.
