Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking an entry-level Space Planner to join our team. You will create space plan options, coordinate implementation, and maintain a library of layouts in AutoCAD, while staying current on furniture systems from selected vendors.

We offer a merit-based, work-from-home program based on responsibilities; after initial in-person training, you may work from home up to three days per week. Willingness to travel to branches when requested and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Above-average communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, ImageRight and SAP.
• Competency to learn new software tools.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Create space plan options.
• Coordinate implementation of approved plans.
• Maintain library of current space plan layouts utilizing AutoCAD.
• Periodically review furniture systems from selected vendors to stay current in knowledge of available systems.
• Willing to travel to branches upon request.
