Job summary

Diageo seeks an Analyst Space Optimization to join the Space Optimization team in Southern California. You will partner with category advisors to ensure shelf strategies are executed with data-driven recommendations, supporting planograms, assortment and space optimization across channels.

The role requires 2–3 years in category management/space planning, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and experience with JDA or Shelf IQ.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Category Management Space Planning, preferably in CPG or Adult Beverage categories.
Strong technical capabilities with space planning software (JDA and Shelf IQ) and syndicated data sources.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
Advanced computer skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Ability to travel 10%.

Responsibilities

Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners to support objectives, goals and outcomes.
Implement planogram recommendations to increase efficiency & conversion, improve shopability and space-to-sales optimization using JDA and Shelf IQ.
Support regular reporting to highlight performance and growth opportunities.
Use various data sources including syndicated data, retailer POS, planogram data.
Assume ownership of assigned tools, processes, and tasks.
