Diageo is seeking a Category Analyst to join its Space Optimization team in Southern CA. You will partner with category advisor teams to implement shelf strategies through data-driven recommendations, planograms, and assortment insights, ensuring best-in-class shelf execution.
Role requires 2–3 years in CM/space planning, proficiency with JDA and Shelf IQ, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Travel about 10% and remote collaboration with cross-functional partners are expected.

Seeking a category analyst to join Diageo's Space Optimization team. As part of the broader category management department, this role will work in partnership with category advisor teams to ensure our customer's shelf management strategies are implemented - by providing assortment and shelf recommendations through a fact-based approach.
Candidate will develop a solid understanding of the business, products, markets, and the needs of customers; being recognized as a shelf management expert in the Spirits category.
Complexity is high (very SKU intensive category) and flexibility is critical in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
The role requires a significant level of collaboration and the ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external partners.
