Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager for remote engagement to support SOX testing and ITGC/applications controls. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting testing results, coordinating with process owners and external auditors to ensure SOX compliance, and guiding remediation activities.

The ideal candidate will have SOX ITGC testing experience, familiarity with COSO/COBIT/ITIL, ERP environments, strong documentation skills, and professional certifications such as CISA, CPA,

Qualifications

• Recent experience performing SOX ITGC testing as a senior associate or manager.
• Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as COSO, COBIT, and ITIL.
• Experience with ERP environments and key applications relevant to financial reporting.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing in accordance with established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with clear evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support management with remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and project stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
