Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager to support SOX testing for a client engagement. The consultant will plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application control testing, coordinating with stakeholders and supporting remediation to ensure SOX compliance. The role offers W2 benefits and a flexible remote setup.

Rate: $90.00 to $95.00/hr. w2. Experience with COSO/COBIT/ITIL and ERP environments is preferred, with CPA/CISA/CIA certifications valued.

Qualifications

• Recent experience performing SOX ITGC testing as a senior associate or manager.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with ERP environments and financial reporting applications.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing.
• Evaluate IT controls over change and access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document results with evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
