Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager to support SOX testing for a client engagement. The consultant will plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application control testing, coordinate with stakeholders, and support remediation activities to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

We offer W2 and corp-to-corp options with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $90.00 to $95.00/hr. w2.

Qualifications

• Recent SOX ITGC testing experience as a senior associate or manager.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with ERP environments and key applications for financial reporting.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing per established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
