Job summary

Sonoma Land Trust is seeking a Southeast Greenway Project Coordinator to support the Park Master Plan process, administrative tasks, and system management for public/private partnerships in Santa Rosa, CA. The role involves coordinating staff, volunteers, consultants, and city partners, while ensuring timely deliverables and effective communication.

The position is 2-year term-limited, full-time, 40 hours per week, with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit operations, project management, or executive assistance.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and relationships simultaneously.
• Experience building and improving operational systems and software (PM, file management, calendar, databases).
• Clear written and verbal communication for meetings, reports, and presentations.
• Commitment to equity, environmental sustainability, and inclusive community-building.
• Proficiency with Windows-based Office tools (Word, Excel) and cloud platforms (Box, Google Drive).
• Access to reliable transportation and a California driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, communication, and workflow among staff, volunteers, consultants, and City staff.
• Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and document decisions and action items.
• Manage logistics for community engagement activities and events.
• Prepare updates, briefings, presentations, and reports for leadership and partners.
• Monitor progress and escalate issues requiring decisions.
• Support partner meetings and public settings with project information.
