Job summary

JCC SoCo in Santa Rosa, CA, seeks a motivated Program Coordinator to support day‑to‑day operations of our programs and events in a flexible, community‑based nonprofit setting. The role blends remote work with on‑site event support, primarily in Santa Rosa, with occasional travel across Sonoma County.

This position offers hands‑on experience in program administration, community engagement, and event coordination within a mission‑driven nonprofit environment, alongside opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends for events when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with setup/breakdown.
• Driver's license valid in California with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute community events and programs from logistics to on‑site support.
• Manage registration and membership processes via our website and tools.
• Create and distribute marketing materials, flyers, emails, and social posts.
• Lead outreach to recruit participants and members through events and partnerships.
• Draft newsletters and program communications for participants, sponsors, and partners.
• Coordinate with venues and sponsors before and after events.
