Job summary

Qdrant, a remote-first vector search company, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to guide clients from day one. You’ll translate architectural needs into actionable pricing and contracts, drive deal execution with cross-functional teams, and help design high-availability search architectures.

You will work with clients to validate use cases, map migration paths from legacy engines, and communicate complex concepts to engineers and business stakeholders, all in a collaborative, async-friendly

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or Bash for validating business value.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Background in data science, computer engineering, or a DevOps-related role.
• 2–4 years of technical, customer-facing experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Translate architectural requirements into pricing models and contract terms with senior input.
• Coordinate with Support, Product, and Engineering to unblock proofs of concept (POCs).
• Manage technical sales workflows in Jira and Salesforce.
• Identify deployment risks early and advise on high-availability architectures.
• Support discovery sessions and map migration paths from legacy search engines to Qdrant.
• Act as a technical point of contact during evaluation to accelerate customer value.
