Job summary

Fives Intralogistics Corp. seeks a Solutions Engineer to design integrated material handling solutions, mapping flows and rates across functions. You will translate customer data into a cohesive layout and collaborate with engineers and sales to defend the concept.

The role emphasizes end-to-end design with a focus on automation, throughput, capacity and lifecycle tradeoffs, while engaging with customers as the technical voice during pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12 years designing automated material handling or distribution operations.
• Ownership of facility-level or operation-level concepts spanning multiple functional areas.
• Hands-on analysis of customer operational data including order profiles, velocity, volumes and seasonality.
• Direct customer-facing technical experience during a sales pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer data to map material flow across all functional areas.
• Design the material flow and write a high-level layout and rates basis for the solution.
• Serve as the technical liaison to the customer during pursuit and presentation of concepts.
