EDB is seeking a Solution Developer to join our remote engineering team. You will work across frontend and backend tasks, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, building scalable apps and automations in AWS.

You will use Next.js, Node.js, Python, and Postgres while adopting new technologies as our stack evolves. A strong generalist mindset and drive to learn are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript & Node.js, deep Next.js knowledge, and API development experience.
• Proven Python development experience for apps or data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience transforming data with dbt and scheduling tasks with Airflow.
• Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, or similar).
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL database design/optimization.
• Git version control and CI/CD for stable deployments.
• Ability to adapt across UI tasks and data pipelines and solve bottlenecks.

We are seeking a Solution Developer to join our engineering team. This is a versatile role requiring a mix of full-stack web development, data pipeline engineering, and cloud infrastructure management. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining applications that involve both user-facing interfaces and complex back-end automation.

The ideal candidate is a technical generalist who is comfortable working across multiple languages (JavaScript and Python) and is eager to adopt new technologies as our stack evolves.

Your impact will be:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js and Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python for backend services and data processing scripts.
• Build and monitor automated workflows and data pipelines using Airflow and dbt.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Manage and deploy applications within an AWS environment, ensuring cloud best practices are followed.
• Optimize database performance and manage data migrations in Postgres.
• Quickly learn and implement new frameworks or tools based on project-specific requirements

What you will bring:

• Frontend/Backend: 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript & Node.js; with deep understanding of the Next.js framework; and strong experience with API development & integrations
• Python: Proven experience using Python for application development or data engineering.
• Cloud: Working knowledge of AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Data Tools: Experience in Pipeline Development, specifically transforming data with dbt and/or workflow tools like n8n along with scheduling tasks with Airflow.
• Automation: Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, or custom-built solutions).
• Database: Strong SQL skills and experience managing PostgreSQL databases (schema designs; complex queries and optimization).
• Version Control: Proficient in Git version control (branching, PRs, code reviews) and implementing CI/CD workflows to ensure stable, high-quality code delivery.
• Adaptability: Ability to switch between different programming languages and technical domains (e.g., moving from a UI task to a data pipeline task).
• Problem-Solving: A track record of identifying technical bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions.
• Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.

Compensation Range : $110-125k + annual bonus
