Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT System Administration, DevOps Engineering, software engineering, database administration, or related role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and Oracle Database in enterprise production environments.
• Experience with Always On Availability Groups, Windows Failover Clustering, cross-site replication, HA, DR, and Windows infrastructure; Linux knowledge for Oracle environments.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring/observability platforms (OEM, AWR/ASH, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Experience with DevOps/CI-CD: Git, automated deployments, scripting, configuration-as-code, testing, rollback, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SQL Server and Oracle DB across on-premises, Azure, and OCI environments.
• Support high availability, DR, patching, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain automation in SQL, PowerShell, Python, Linux shell, and APIs.
• Toubleshoot production issues across databases, OS, storage, networks, and cloud services; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage database secrets, encryption keys, wallets, and certificates (Azure Key Vault, OCI Vault, Oracle Wallet).
• Support ETL/data integration, SFTP, APIs, and end-to-end application/data flows.
