Grand Ground Enterprise LLC is seeking a Solution Architect – VA LGY/Java to lead the design, modernization, and integration of enterprise solutions for VA Loan Guaranty systems. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure architectures and drive modernization across cloud-native Java applications.

The role requires deep Java expertise, cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and strong collaboration with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and federal leadership to ensure compliance with VA standards

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience supporting federal government programs, preferably VA.
• Knowledge of VA LGY systems or enterprise integration environments.
• Cloud-based solution design in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
• Solid DevSecOps, CI/CD, containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of integration patterns, queues, and API management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture, design, and technical strategy for VA LGY enterprise applications and modernization.
• Design scalable, secure Java-based solutions using modern patterns and cloud tech.
• Create architecture diagrams, integration patterns, and roadmaps aligned with VA standards.
• Provide technical leadership for microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, developers, and infra teams to translate requirements.
• Ensure compliance with VA security standards, FedRAMP, and 508.
• Guide CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and IaC practices.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews for quality and maintainability.
• Evaluate new tech and modernization opportunities for performance and scalability.
• Support integration with VA enterprise services, legacy apps, and third-party platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and advise on performance tuning.
• Mentor teams and govern architectural practices; participate in Agile rituals.
