Job description

Minimum 7 years’ experience in an IT environment, focusing on leading application solutions delivery and design.

Extensive experience with application design, layering, and the concept of separation of concerns.

Familiarity with data storage types and their unique qualities that differentiate them for specific use cases.

Effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations tailored to the audience.

Ability to provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of architecture implementation that supports the Corporate Business Strategy within projects.

Demonstrated experience in consulting and influencing decisions through sound judgment and data analysis to drive business outcomes and resolve complex issues.

Ability to influence, solicit cooperation, and educate others to gain understanding and buy-in.

Collaborate with other architects; provide feedback on standards, ensure compliance with architecture and design frameworks, and educate business and technology partners on approved technologies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with architecture peers and project roles.

Ability to find transitional strategies to achieve target states when timelines or other factors pose challenges.

Informal leadership skills to assist development teams with new and difficult techniques.

Good to excellent familiarity with architectural patterns, including data aggregation, integration, application architecture, event and process-centric design, loose coupling, and knowledge of cloud computing trends.

Self-starter with internal drive, informal leadership qualities, and project completion ability.

Experience with agile and waterfall SDLC methodologies.

Prior leadership experience through projects or informal roles demonstrating leadership qualities.

Preferred:

Experience in creating reference implementations.

Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or other architecture frameworks.

Cloud architecture experience with AWS or Azure.

Application and infrastructure design experience.

Healthcare industry knowledge and experience.

Primary Skills:
