Qualifications

• 1-2 years SolidWorks experience creating and maintaining 3D models and 2D production drawings.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Excel, and comfort utilizing AI prompts to drive workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain 3D models, assemblies, weldments, and 2D production drawings for fabrication and welding.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and fabrication teams to resolve design and production issues on deadline.
• Maintain strict revision control and ensure documentation meets company standards for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline drawing efficiency and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and Excel alongside SolidWorks to enhance daily workflows.
